How to participate

Northern Virginia Community College is hosting its annual Clothesline Project, brought to you virtually. This event promotes awareness for sexual assault and domestic violence, using the power of words for victims and survivors. Anyone is encouraged to participate, especially if you or someone you know needs an outlet for support and expression. You do not need to be a NOVA student to join our event.

How it works: Download our virtual t-shirt template from our "Examples" tab, and decorate it using your choice of software or artistic outlet. You may also physically create your own shirt and take a photo for submission. Submissions must not showcase blame for others, or display any personal information. Your shirt may be a personal expression or show support for all victims and survivors. T-shirts must say "Fall 2020" on the bottom. Send your submission to wellness@nvcc.edu.

Entries must be approved first, and will then be posted anonymously to this page. Submissions are due by November 28 by 5 P.M. Feel free to contact us for additional information or guidance.
